As global low-carbon policy targets expand, the demand for green-collar talent is rapidly growing. The transition to net-zero emissions is not only a critical response to climate change but also a fundamental pathway toward sustainable development. The financial sector plays a pivotal role in accelerating this transition across industries.
This year, BCSD Taiwan hosted the Sustainable Finance Summer Campus, aimed at nurturing future professionals through hands-on sustainability exercises, comprehensive training, and focused thematic workshops. Our team was honored to participate as industry speakers, sharing insights into the evolving carbon market and exploring its legal framework in Taiwan, as well as its alignment with international low-carbon standards.
By examining real-world low-carbon management case studies, we guided students in understanding how leading companies craft their strategies and roadmaps in response to increasingly stringent policies. The enthusiasm and commitment of the students toward sustainability issues were inspiring, and we are confident in the potential of this new generation to shape a greener future.
